Custom layers
Custom layers are an extremely powerful feature in telefi that allow you to overlay your own data on top of the map to help inform your decisions on where to collect data. One such example some of our roofing clients use is to upload a list of their existing built addresses so they are able to see where they have already done work and call clients nearby to use as part of their pitch. Note that while you can only use one built in layer at a time currently, you can use multiple custom layers at once and stack it with on built in layer.
Uploading a custom layer
To upload a custom layer, you will need a CSV file with at minimum containing an address column, and a column to label the point that gets added to the map. The address column should feature an entire street address so we are able to locate it on the map. After selecting the columns and naming the layer, hit upload. You should see your layer appear in the list of custom layers. You can then select it in the list and view it on the map.
